Miami-Dade Woman Charged After Allegedly Throwing Bucket of PO*P on Neighbor Over Suspected Affair

Miami-Dade County Sheriff's deputies arrested Yirsi Esperanza Machado Rivera, 50, on September 7, 2026 on charges of burglary and battery after she allegedly threw a bucket of human feces on her next-door neighbor during a dispute over a suspected affair, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office.

The incident happened around 6:15 p.m. at the Royal Country Mobile Homes park in the 5500 block of Northwest 200th Terrace, near Miami Gardens, where Machado Rivera and the alleged victim live on separate sides of a shared trailer - deputies said.

According to the arrest report, Machado Rivera went to the victim's side of the trailer and began banging on the door. When the victim answered, Machado Rivera accused her of having a sexual relationship with Machado Rivera's husband, then forced her way inside and shoved the victim before leaving. Deputies said she threw a bucket containing human feces on the victim on her way out.

A witness told investigators that Machado Rivera had said beforehand she intended to throw the contents of the bucket in the victim's face, according to the report.

When deputies later interviewed Machado Rivera, she gave a different account. She said her toilet was broken and she had been using a bucket in its place, and that the argument with her neighbor started over the smell it was causing. She told deputies the victim hit her in the head with a bat during the confrontation, causing a laceration, and denied entering the victim's home or throwing anything at her.

Machado Rivera was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and later appeared before Miami-Dade County Circuit Court Judge Mindy Glazer for a bond hearing. Summarizing the allegations for the court, Glazer said:

Glazer ordered Machado Rivera held without bond and issued a stay-away order barring contact with the alleged victim. The court appointed a public defender to represent her as the case proceeds.
